Alcance por mi barrio

Alcance por mi Barrio is a program designed to keep children away from maras and gangs after school. Colegio Maya works with Alcance por mi Barrio to provide after school activities such as art, drama, and technology clubs. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic our work with them has moved online, we create worksheets and videos to enhance their curriculum.

Now, we are offering to them, Saturday sessions in our school. Around 30 or 45 students from Alcance come to our school at least 2 Saturdays each month to participate in different activities: math, reading, writing, science, sports, recycling, arts and craft, cooking, dance, make up, and much more.
